RFP2024

This request for proposal (RFP) invites vendors to propose data network switches, including all implementation and support services for South Washington County Schools.

The term “District” means South Washington County Schools and any department or board of the School District. The term “Vendor” means the person, firm, or corporation who is submitting this proposal for consideration to furnish and deliver the specified merchandise or services.  The term “LT” means local time of the District.

Equipment/services requested:

As part of South Washington County Schools 10 year network and infrastructure plan, we are submitting a request for proposal (RFP) via the FCC (USAC) eRate program.

This project will replace all data network equipment, including core and closet network switches at our middle schools. This project will also replace closet switches in our high schools used for video cameras. The equipment being replaced were installed in 2013 and 2014 and is used for transmitting information on data and video networks.

South Washington County Schools is seeking proposals for the procurement of 2 firewalls to ensure robust and secure internet connectivity across our district. The proposal shall include a firewall for our North Datacenter and a firewall for our South Datacenter.

10Gb Internet Services are currently being delivered at each location. Vendors must demonstrate capability in delivering, installing, and activating complex firewall solutions in an educational environment. We request bids for Qty 2 Fortinet FG-3000F firewall or equivalent, including a 5 year license bundle, Firewall conversion, and installation services for the firewall systems.
