Student athletes sign National Letter of Intent

Twenty-three District 833 student athletes sign National Letter of Intent

Twenty-three seniors from South Washington County Schools signed letters of intent to play inter-collegiate athletics next year on Wednesday, Nov. 14. The students attend East Ridge, Park and Woodbury high schools. November 14 was the first day of the early signing period for students to sign a National Letter of Intent.

The eight students from East Ridge High School who signed their letter of intent are:

Stephanie Barber: Volleyball at University of West Florida
Courtney Brown Jr.: Basketball at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee
Delaney Goertzen: Women’s Soccer at Drake University
Reegan Goulding: Women’s Soccer at Bemidji State University
Kate Reimann: Volleyball at Augustana University
Addi Scribner: Women’s Hockey at Ohio State University
Linnea Yacovella: Women’s Soccer at University of Minnesota
Sidney Zavoral: Softball at Eastern Illinois University

he seven students from Park High School who signed their letter of intent are:

Saren Croker: Softball at Creighton University
Charlie Gorres: Basketball at the University of Minnesota-Duluth
Lucas Hoyt: Lacrosse at Detroit Mercy University
Taryn Leonard: Lacrosse at Upper Iowa University
Madi Meduna: Softball at the Winona State University
Bryanna Olson: Softball at Concordia University – St. Paul
Mason Porter: Lacrosse at Lindenwood University

The eight students from Woodbury High School who signed their letter of intent are:

Grace Beseman: Softball at Concordia University
Maddi Hanson: Girls Golf at University of Sioux Falls
Ashley Hewitt: Girls Soccer at Winona State University
Adam Mazur: Baseball at South Dakota State University
Gavin Olson: Boys Lacrosse at Wheeling Jesuit University
Isabelle Parker: Girls Lacrosse at Young Harris College
Shweta Raje: Girls Soccer at University of Denver
Mckenna Strand: Girls Soccer at North Dakota State University
