In South Washington County Schools students will meet new friends, learn routines, develop problem-solving skills and begin building a critical foundation for success in future learning.
As a part of your child’s experience, they will have the opportunity to learn from dedicated educators, including their classroom teacher and specialists in art, music, media and physical education.
Students will be exposed to many different learning experiences that will be appropriate to their age and level of development. These experiences will be presented in a variety of ways in order to introduce, reinforce, extend or master various skills. Your student will be immersed in a comprehensive, district-wide curriculum including social & emotional development, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, health & physical education, music and art education, and media literacy.
