Task Force

Consists of the Steering Committee, along with a mix of internal and external stakeholders. Members of the task force have submitted an application and been selected based on the need to have a group of community members that are representative of as many of our schools as possible. The role of the long range facilities task force is:

  • To review the data accumulated in the information gathering/needs assessment phase by the steering committee.
  • To evaluate the alternative proposals put forward by the steering committee for effectiveness in addressing the identified facility needs.
  • To develop rationale to support recommended modifications or elimination of the alternatives or portions thereof as the task force deems appropriate prior to the steering committee presenting the alternatives to the school board and community at large for input.
  • To evaluate the community responses to the alternatives and work in consultation providing feedback to the Steering Committee in order to formulate a recommendation to the school board.
