In the fall of 2023, voters in the South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) district approved two bond questions, allowing SoWashCo Schools to begin construction projects at 15 schools over the course of 5 years.
SoWashCo Schools will complete the projects in two phases. The first tier of construction projects consists of the highest priority items in the bond election, focusing on safety and security and overcrowding in our secondary schools.
The first projects are slated to begin construction during Spring 2025. SoWashCo Schools hopes to have the first construction projects completed by Fall 2026 and all the construction projects done by Fall 2027.
