1.0 Call to Order; Roll Call
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the School Board of Independent School District 833, South Washington County, was held on Thursday, September 6, 2018. The meeting was called to order by Chair Tracy Brunnette, at 6:30pm at the District Service Center, located at 7362 East Point Douglas Road South, Cottage Grove, Minnesota. School Board Members present were: Tracy Brunnette, Pat Driscoll, Heather Hirsch, Ron Kath, Katie Schwartz, Sharon Van Leer and Michelle Witte. Superintendent Keith Jacobus was present.

It was moved by Sharon Van Leer to approve the agenda. Seconded by Tracy Brunnette. All in favor, none opposed, motion carried.

It was moved by Pat Driscoll to approve the consent agenda. Seconded by Sharon Van Leer. All in favor, none opposed, motion carried.

It was moved by Ron Kath, seconded by Katie Schwartz to approve the resolution. Brunnette, Driscoll, Hirsch, Kath, Schwartz, Van Leer & Witte voted in favor, none opposed. Motion carried.

It was moved by Pat Driscoll, seconded by Katie Schwartz to approve the 2018-19 Strategic Plan. All in favor, none opposed, motion carried.

11.0 Reports and Comments:

11.1 Superintendents Report
Dr. Jacobus reported on the start of the 2018-19 school year and construction projects.

11.2 School Board Member Reports
Tracy Brunnette, Pat Driscoll, Heather Hirsch, Katie Schwartz, Sharon Van Leer and Michelle Witte toured Oltman Middle School. Pat Driscoll will be attending AMSD and MSBA phase 3 and 4 trainings. Heather Hirsch met at the alternative high school to discuss accountability measurements for MDE. She also attended back to school night and the Woodbury days parade. Ron Kath attended the Citizens Finance Committee meeting. Sharon Van Leer will be attending the City of Woodbury meeting, and Climate and Culture Committee with City of Woodbury. Michelle Witte: is hosting an exchange student and is excited for the new schools and AMSD legislative committee.
