district logoIn South Washington County Schools, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is a top priority, which is why we are launching a new Tip and Information Portal, or T.I.P., an easy, confidential way for secondary students to report issues and other important information to schools and the district. We want to encourage secondary students to be upstanders, not bystanders and to use this tool to report anything they may see or be experiencing themselves. T.I.P. is replacing TipTxt, which will be unavailable as of December 31, 2019.

T.I.P. will be found on the district website,, in January and secondary students and families are encouraged to share any tips or concerns by completing the short form. While there are no established categories in the form, submitted tips can include topics such as academic concerns, alcohol or drug use, bullying, discrimination, mental health concerns, parking issues, violence and more.

Tips are taken very seriously and will be reviewed periodically throughout the school week. It is important to know that T.I.P. is not a replacement for 911, real-time or emergency response services and students are still encouraged to talk to a staff member first.
