During the visits, students were challenged to think critically and work together, while having fun. In Tammi Nelson’s Royal Oaks classroom, the students chanted “science is power” as the 3M Wizards performed experiments that wowed the second graders.

“We were happy to include District 833 schools in this first-ever locally coordinated 3M Visiting Wizard’s event,” said Jackie Berry, Education Programs Manager at 3M.

The 3M Visiting Wizards program was created to spark interest in science and technology and show students how science can impact everyday life.
