2019 Elections

The District 833 School Board has three seats open for election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. All three members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four years each. Board members Heather Hirsch, Ron Kath and Michelle Witte currently fill these seats.

Filings received as of the 5 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, Aug. 13 include ten candidates.

Filing for election are incumbents Heather Hirsch (Cottage Grove), Ron Kath (Cottage Grove), along with Dwayne Brauch (Cottage Grove), Keith Collier (Woodbury), Melinda Dols (Woodbury), Cecilia Domingos (Woodbury), Kevin Haskins (Cottage Grove), Louise Hinz (Afton), Pauline Ho (Cottage Grove) and Simi Patnaik (Woodbury).

Each candidate was also given the opportunity by the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission to record a short video on their candidacy. Those videos are available here.
