Student and staff safety is a top priority for South Washington County Schools. The district is committed to continually reevaluating school safety procedures and protocols, and is working to be as transparent as possible regarding safety plans.

Students and families also play a role in ensuring schools are safe. Any concerns about the safety of an individual, or larger community, should be reported to a school or district official immediately. If the issue involves a middle or high school and does not require immediate action, the report can be made anonymously through TIP TXT.

TIP TXT is a safe, confidential way to stop bullying or help someone facing mental health issues, or otherwise in need. It should not be used for immediate threats and is not a substitute for 911.

To use TIP TXT, text the code for each school along with a message about the issue to the school’s designated number. Information for each school is listed below:
