WHS and PHS DECA Teams Head to State Championships

DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) is a global student organization for marketing, finance, hospitality and management.

Last week, students from Park and Woodbury high schools competed against over 1000 students from other schools at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown St. Paul. It was a great experience for the students who moved out of their comfort zones to challenge themselves in a professional setting. Students competed in events ranging from hospitality and tourism to finance to sports marketing. 

Five students from Park and 26 students from Woodbury will be moving forward to the State Championships.
