Negotiation Update 2025-26: Session 2

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) and the United Teachers of South Washington County (UTSWC) met for their second public negotiation session on June 11, 2025.  The current collective bargaining agreement expires on June 30, 2025.

UTSWC presented nine new proposals and confirmed that additional proposals would be forthcoming. The District presented 10 proposals and provided counter proposals on two previous proposals.  There were four tentative agreements during Session 2.  The District encouraged UTSWC to bring all remaining proposals including economic proposals to the next session.

The next negotiation session between SoWashCo Schools and UTSWC is scheduled for Monday, July 28.
