SoWashCo Marching Band Performs at the State Fair

The SoWashCo Schools marching band had the honor of performing in the State Fair Parade last week. The SoWashco Schools marching band comprises nearly 200 students from schools across the district. The SoWashCo marching band was the highest-scoring band the day they participated. 

"They spend countless hours after school and in the summer heat perfecting their craft,” said band director Tom Storm. “Seeing them representing our entire school community at the State Fair makes every minute worth it.”

Congratulations to all our student musicians, directors and boosters for this outstanding achievement. Catch the talented SoWashCo Schools marching band along with each high school’s marching band at the Marching Band Showcase at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the East Ridge High School stadium.
