Review Emergency Procedures Before Winter

Throughout the school year, SoWashCo Schools may enter into an emergency closure or an e-learning day (extended learning day) due to bad weather or other situations in which school cannot be held in person.

• An emergency closure may be caused by a rare storm or situation that requires all learning activities to be canceled and for district buildings to be closed. 
• An e-learning day will have students use their district-issued device to access assignments from home to minimize disruption to academic progress.
