Opt-In for Transportation

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) will use an opt-in transportation system for the 2024-25 school year to help ensure the most efficient routing for students eligible to ride a school bus.

The form can be found in your Parent Campus Portal account within the message center.

Families must complete the opt-in form by Friday, March 29, 2024.

  • Please complete a form for each child.

  • Primary households must complete a form for each child. (Secondary households do not need to complete the form.)

  • Families that do not complete the form for each child will be opted out of transportation services for the 2024-25 school year.

  • Non-busing zone distances of 1 mile for elementary school students and 1.5 miles for middle school students are subject to change.

If changes to School Board policy are made before the 2024-25 school year, impacted families will receive additional communication about transportation before the school year begins.
 

If your situation changes, families can opt back in for transportation at any time, as long as the student qualifies for busing services.

If you forgot your Parent Campus Portal Username or Password

Password Retrieval:

Do not use the “Forgot Username” and “Forgot Password” links on the Infinite Campus login page.  You can retrieve your username or reset your password using this link: https://changepassword.sowashco.org/pwm/private/login.

  • Click on Forgotten Password.

  • You will be asked to provide your username and a security code will be sent to your email.

  • Once you receive a security code, follow the instructions to reset your password.

  • Be sure to check your junk email if you do not see the code in your inbox. 

Username Retrieval:

  • All parents are already set up with an account, you can retrieve your username and reset your password using this link: https://changepassword.sowashco.org/pwm/private/login.

  • Click on “Forgot Username”

  • You will be asked to provide your email address.

  • Your username will appear – if it does not, make sure that you are entering the email address that the district has on file for you.
