Notice of Unauthorized Access to SeeSaw Messaging Feature
Dear South Washington County Schools Community,
I’m writing to let you know about a situation that affected the online learning platform, SeeSaw, our learning software for elementary students, this morning.
SeeSaw experienced an event of unauthorized access to its messaging system. This unauthorized access generated messages with an inappropriate image sent from parent accounts to staff accounts. Parents could view this message in their sent mailbox. There is no evidence of student accounts receiving any inappropriate messages.
This situation has impacted all districts that use the learning platform. SeeSaw has shut down the messaging feature and is investigating.
If you have any questions or concerns contact our Department of Technology at email@example.com. Thank you for supporting South Washington County Schools.
Bob Berkowitz, Director
Department of Technology
