Negotiation Update 2025-26: Update 7

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) and the United Teachers of South Washington County (UTSWC) met for their seventh public negotiation session on Oct. 8, 2025.  

The District provided five counterproposals to their previous proposals, in addition to providing an economic counterproposal. UTSWC did not provide updates or counterproposals to SoWashCo Schools proposals. Three tentative agreements were reached. UTSWC discussed their concerns with teacher workload.

The next negotiation session between SoWashCo Schools and UTSWC is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 20.
