Negotiation Update 2025-26: Update 5

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) and the United Teachers of South Washington County (UTSWC) met for their fifth public negotiation session on Sept. 10, 2025.  

UTSWC presented an updated proposal for one of their previous proposals. The status of SoWashCo Schools' proposals was reviewed; UTSWC did not provide updates or counterproposals to SoWashCo Schools proposals. SoWashCo Schools responded to all UTSWC proposals and presented counterproposals to the financial proposals. One tentative agreement was reached regarding union or government leaves of absence.

The next negotiation session between SoWashCo Schools and UTSWC is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 25.
