Negotiation Update 2025-26: Session 4

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) and the United Teachers of South Washington County (UTSWC) met for their fourth public negotiation session on Aug. 19, 2025.  

UTSWC presented their financial proposals that were emailed to SoWashCo Schools on Aug. 14. The union presented four counterproposals. No new proposals were presented by either side. At the conclusion of the session, there were a total of 12 tentative agreements.

Financial proposals, including wages and benefits, were sent via email to SoWashCo Schools on Aug. 14. SoWashCo Schools did not present any new proposals.  SoWashCo Schools provided counterproposals to six union proposals.  

The next negotiation session between SoWashCo Schools and UTSWC is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10.
