Join an Advisory Group for the 2025-26 School Year

SoWashCo Schools values public participation and input through established district committees and advisory councils.

We invite you to consider joining an advisory or committee to share your voice and contribute to our school community.

We are currently accepting applications for the following groups:

• Advisory Staff Development Committee

• Citizens Finance Advisory Committee (CFAC)

• Community Education Advisory Council

• Curriculum Advisory Committee (CAC)

• District Ambassador Committee

• District Data and; Assessment Committee (DDAC)

• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Parent Advisory

• Early Childhood Advisory Committee

• Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)

Parents/guardians, students, staff and community members who are selected will provide input and gain an understanding about the challenges in education through a variety of focus areas, including finance, education and curriculum.
