East Ridge Students Teach Leadership
Members of the Triance Club at East Ridge High School look for ways to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Eeshika Patchya, the founding student member of Triance, recently forged a partnership with Liberty Ridge Elementary to mentor and teach students leadership skills.
“We believe you are never too young to build leadership skills,” Patchya said. “It is crucial to help the elementary kids because they are the next generation!”
The high school students spoke to Junior Triance about confidence, empathy and setting goals. Liberty Ridge students enjoyed working closely with their high school mentors on their projects and were able to have a space of openness where they were comfortable asking questions and having conversations with their older peers.
