Earth Day 2025

Each Earth Day, students and teachers come together to celebrate our planet. Here are a few inspiring ways some of our Elementary classes celebrated Earth Day this year.

 

At Bailey Elementary, students in Michelle Conger’s and Katie Rueb’s kindergarten classes went on an Earth Day nature walk and scavenger hunt. Students observed and searched for nature around the school grounds. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fourth-grade students at Middleton Elementary participated in a school grounds clean-up. Equipped with gloves and bags, students helped tidy up their school while learning about pollution’s impact. 

 

 

 

 

At Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion, students in Cassidy Rodriguez's fifth-grade class went outside for "mindful minutes" and spent time enjoying our beautiful planet. Students had the option to create perspective drawings, write about their 5 senses or write about "slowing down time" to describe the beautiful day.
