Construction Update - May 2026

Here are a few Spring 2026 highlights of the ongoing construction projects taking place across the district through two voter-approved bond questions, allowing SoWashCo Schools to begin construction projects at 15 schools over the course of 5 years.

Park High School 

  • Freezer and cooler flooring were installed
  • Concrete work at new entrance has begun
  • Kitchen equipment installation is scheduled to start this week
  • Storm shutters to be powered up this week

Woodbury High School 

  • Sheet rock and Curtain walls are in process in Area A
  • Deck painting has begun in Area B
  • Duct work, rain leader, block work, brick, and roofers have all started in kitchen
  • Locker room demo is complete with pour back scheduled for this week

East Ridge High School 

  • Stoops have been poured around the addition in Area T
  • Paint, ceiling and lighting are all in process in Area Q
  • Several slabs of concrete have been poured

Oltman Middle School 

  • Terrazzo, soffits, finishing and tile is all in process in Area C
  • Finishes and technology in process in Area D
  • Cafeteria Curtain wall has been installed
  • Elevator installation is in process

Woodbury Middle School  

  • Bus gates have been installed
  • Prepping for next phase of construction to start later this month
  • Irrigation startup is complete

  • Countertop installation is complete
  • Vestibule doors have been installed
