Construction Update - September 2025

Here are a few Fall 2025 highlights of the ongoing construction projects taking place across the district through two voter-approved bond questions, allowing SoWashCo Schools to begin construction projects at 15 schools over the course of 5 years.

Park High School 

• Bus road through the Crestview lot open for afternoon traffic
• The lecture hall and the new admin area are now in use with temporary tables
• New furniture to be delivered before MEA
• New footings for the addition are complete
• New nurse office is up and running. 
• The temporary greeter desk is operational

Woodbury High School 

• Structural wall was completed for the addition
• Underground utilities were completed
• Door 16 is up and running

 

 

East Ridge High School 

• New pod carpet and hard furniture has been installed
  • Soft furniture scheduled to be delivered in October
• Footings started in Q,R and S for the new addition
• Fiber Splice tentatively scheduled for later this month
• Parking lot work is complete
• Marching band lines complete in the staff parking lot
• Area L scheduled for completion this month

Oltman Middle School 

• New Parent drop-off and pick-up lane has been established
• Curb and gutter near bus turnaround scheduled for later this month
• Deep underground utilities in Area C have been completed 
• Crane will be back onsite later this month for more precast work

 

 

Woodbury Middle School  

• The new bus lane road was completed prior to school start
• Retention area landscaping to start on 9/15
• Prep work for new grass in fields between schools to start later this month
• New doors have been cut into the Multipurpose and storage rooms
• New floor in the new storage room to start this month
• Bus lane signage to be installed this month
• Concrete pour for the back of the school is scheduled later this month
• Infills were completed in the garage and orchestra rooms
• Exterior doors were cut in the new garage area

 

Cottage Grove Middle School

• Tree removal began
• Site clearing for the new addition began
• Excavations for footings to start this month
• Footings to be poured later this month

Lake Middle School

• Tree removal was completed
• Site clearing started this week for the new addition
• Excavations for footings to start this month
• Footings to be poured later this month
• Pioneer and Lake roundabout is open
