Construction near Woodlane Drive and Hargis Parkway

Construction near Woodlane Drive and Hargis Parkway

The City of Woodbury will begin a water pipeline construction project soon near Woodlane Drive and Hargis Parkway. Here’s what to expect in the coming weeks:

• The western driveway from Woodlane Drive into Bailey Elementary School will close for two to three weeks beginning in early August. We plan to have this driveway opened prior to the start of the school year.

• Beginning in August, watch for a posted pedestrian detour in the area. Trails and sidewalks around Bailey Elementary School will be closed for the duration of construction.

• Starting in mid-October, Hargis Parkway from Woodlane Drive to Arbor Drive will close for approximately three weeks, including the intersection of Hargis Parkway and Arbor Drive.

Water treatment plant

The pipeline will serve as a distribution line for the future Water Treatment Plant the city is building east of Radio Drive and south of Hargis Parkway. Learn more about the Woodbury Water Treatment Plant and Pipeline Project at woodburymn.gov/WaterTreatment.
