Owning your superpowers: Girls with ADHD

 1-4:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, Ravine Park, Ages 13-20

Spend an afternoon with your peers learning, embracing your superpowers and growing in self-compassion. In this safe space, you will learn about your amazing brain.

  • Connect with your inner self and other girls with ADHD.
  • Immerse yourself in nature through forest bathing lead by a psychiatrist and
  • Nature enthusiast Dr. Mia Wintheiser of Nimbus Forest Therapy.
  • Wear flexible clothing.
  • Snacks and beverages will be provided

Chess Club 

Chess is offered after school at several of our elementary schools this fall. Beginners and Intermediate players alike are encouraged to meet and interact with other chess players in their school and play on a weekly basis.

Middle School Boys and Girls Flag Football 

2:45-4:15 p.m., Monday-Thursday, Sept. 8-Oct. 10, Grades 6-8

Middle school flag football offers boys and girls the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football in a safe environment. One to two teams will be formed per middle school. Teams will play a schedule against other SoWashCo middle school teams. Students will receive a shirt/jersey. Transportation will not be provided.
