Registration Open for Great Rivers Adult Education Summer Classes

Great Rivers Adult Education is taking registrations for the upcoming summer session. Classes begin June 20 and are free for adults age 17 and older. Offerings include:

  • Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced English as a Second Language
  • GED Prep and K-12 Diploma Completion
  • Para Pro Test Prep
  • Microsoft Office Training and more

Woodbury Boys and Girls Summer Tennis Camps

This camp will consist of the tennis basics while mixing in games and match play for all ages and abilities. We will separate the groups by age and ability. All players are welcome! 

Each camp consists of four sessions, 9-10:30 a.m., Monday-Thursday. See our website for dates and times. Sessions start on June 13.

SOAR – SoWashCo Online Academic Resource - deadline to register May 27

SOAR is a self-paced, nine-week online course that begins on June 13 for SoWashCo School students to help stop summer learning loss. This course will help your child maintain math and/or reading skills this summer. SoWashCo Schools teachers have developed an online summer course to help students going into grades 1-8 to preview grade-level curriculum for the next school year. 

  • Lessons take between 30-45 minutes each week
  • New lessons open at 8 a.m. on Mondays

Paint Your Pet on July 18

Join us from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 18 at the District Program Center to learn how to create a personalized pet portrait. Ages 10 and up are welcome, no experience is needed. You will be taught by a professional pet portrait artist the techniques of painting texture that looks like fur, making eyes that look realistic and other tips to creating your very own pet’s portrait.
