JIWON, ALLISON, CHRISTINE and NATALIE at VALLEY CROSSING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Jiwon, Allison, Christine and Natalie all share a love of reading. The four of them kept up their love of reading throughout the summer by creating a book club. Together they read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Front Desk, Flora and Ulysses, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach and Fantastic Mr. Fox. To celebrate the end of their summer book club, the students set up a lemonade stand and made $70. They decided the best way to use the money was to donate it to the media center at Valley Crossing. These girls took the initiative to improve their community by taking bold action. Thank you Jiwon, Allison, Christine and Natalie for being bold and sharing your love of reading with your peers.
