2026 Triple A Winners
The Triple “A” Award is a Minnesota State High School League Award that recognizes seniors excelling in academics, arts and athletics. Teachers, coaches, directors and advisors nominate students. Students were encouraged to nominate others or themselves in the fall.

Albert Hao is an outstanding student athlete that has enrolled in 9 AP courses, earning high honors with distinction along with a 4.533 GPA. Throughout his high school academic career, he has attained a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. What an incredible accomplishment! A large part of Alberts fine arts experience has been participating in our Orchestra playing the Viola. He has played the Viola for 9 years, has been a section leader, performed in solo ensemble contests, SEC music festival and large group orchestra performances. Albert was also a member of our varsity soccer team. Over time, Albert learned that true teamwork is about awareness and adaptability. Success doesn’t come from one person standing out, but from a group moving in sync toward a shared goal. That lesson has shaped how he approached not only soccer but any situation that requires collaboration and trust. Albert will be attending Northwestern University majoring in Engineering and participating in Orchestra - small ensemble and intermural sports.

Isabelle Hanson is a gifted student-athlete who has challenged herself academically by taking AP courses and has a current GPA of 4.00. Her passion for learning has led to 3 academic letters and academic All-American honors as a swimmer. Isabelle has been part of our ERHS band program since 9th grade playing the trumpet. Her most memorable performance was playing at the Minnesota Music Educators Association State honors concert. Isabelle was the captain of our swim/dive team along with participating in Clay Target Trap shooting where she placed 2nd at State.

Park’s female recipient this year is Kailena Krech. Kailena is a letter winner in soccer and served on the program’s senior leadership team. She is a section leader in band and received a superior rating in the large group contest. Krech was named All-Conference in both band and orchestra. She is a member of National Honor Society, the marching band, jazz band, pit
orchestra, and has a GPA of 4.2. Kailena plans to study animal science on the pre-veterinarian track at the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities next year.

Alexander Hidlebaugh is Park’s male winner. Lex is a two-time letter winner in basketball and participated in track and field. He earned All-Conference and All-State honors in choir while also receiving best of site and superior ratings at Region contests. Hidlebaugh is involved in the theater department and has been in numerous fall play and musical productions. He
is a member of the National Honor Society and has a 4.1 GPA. Lex will attend the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and will study conservation science. The mission of the Park High School Activities Department is to create learning opportunities for students to develop character, become well-rounded citizens, and achieve excellence in their activities, school, and community.

Andie Ortloff has excelled in academics, arts and athletics during her years at Woodbury High School. She maintains a 4.33 weighted GPA and has taken twelve Advanced Placement Courses. A WHS Math Teacher shared that “Andie is one of the most distinguished math students she has taught in her career.” Andie is a superior musician. Her love for music first began playing the piano and started playing the violin in fourth grade. Today, Andie can be found playing the violin and oboe. Andie is a section leader in the top chamber orchestra ensemble at Woodbury, and co-principal at All-State Orchestra for oboe as a junior. Athletically, Andie has cast a wide net of playing complementary sports and found success at the varsity level. Alpine Skiing is Andie’s top sport having been a member of the WHS Alpine Ski Team since eighth grade. Andie has been a member of the varsity team for four years and section team member the past three years. During her senior year, Andie was named a tennis captain, playing doubles and found success with her team mates with a much improved team record in 2025. Andie shares her math talent with others as Co-President of Higher Heights tutoring organization. She also helps volunteer at the local library supporting children. Andie plans to attend UW Madison or University of Minnesota-Twin Cities majoring in biomedical engineering and music while playing in the University Symphony Orchestra

Cohen Rogers has excelled in academics, arts and athletics during his years at Woodbury High School. He maintains a 4.29 weighted GPA and has taken 10 AP courses while at WHS. Throughout elementary, middle and high school Cohen has participated in the Spanish Immersion Program and is bilingual. Cohen earned the Platinum Seal of Biliteracy and is a volunteer giving back to younger students at Nuevas Fronteras Elementary where he attended. For his Spanish Immersion Capstone Project, Cohen is investigating how he will be able to use his Spanish in a future career in medicine by interviewing medical personnel. Cohen is a four-year member of the WHS Orchestra playing the violin. He has been recognized as a section leader each year in the Orchestra. Cohen is a two-sport varsity athlete in Boys Soccer and Basketball. In soccer, Cohen is a three-year letter winner. Cohen was part of the 2023 and 2024 teams that were Section 4AAA Champions and participated in the state tournament finishing in third and fifth place, respectively. In Basketball, Cohen has been a four-year member playing junior varsity and varsity the past two seasons. While playing basketball, he has continued to play club soccer at the highest level. Outside of sports and orchestra, Cohen is very involved in several different clubs at Woodbury High School. He is a member of the Tri M Honors Society for Music. He mentors and leads ninth graders during their first year in high school in Link Crew. His dedication toward helping others and strong academics, has earned him a membership in the National Honors Society. Lastly, he is a member of Health Occupations of Students of America, learning about the medical field. Cohen will attend Bethel University to study Neuroscience and Spanish on a pre-med track while playing soccer.
