NOTE: The district continues to experience growth, and in particular in the northeast quadrant of the district. Parents looking in this area or at Liberty Ridge should be aware that new attendance boundaries will take effect in the fall of 2017-18. Even with these adjustments, there are certain grade levels that may not be accommodating new students.
Valley Crossing Elementary
Any family within District 833 is able to apply for an intra-district transfer to Valley Crossing, the district's recently acquired elementary school. For the 2016-17 school year and beyond, the district plans to maintain the programs and opportunities that are in place at Valley Crossing, including the multiage choice program and Gateway, the district’s Gifted Education program for students in grades 3-5. With the completion of the north elementary attendance boundaries, those students residing in neighborhood groups W10, W11, W12, W27 and W29, will be assigned to Valley Crossing in the fall of 2017.
Enrolling in the multiage choice program for 2017-18
The multiage choice program will continue to be an option for families across District 833. Families should submit an intra-district transfer request if they are interested in the multiage choice program for their child. The requests will be accepted based on space available, first-come first-served.
