Nutrition Services

Cinco de Mayo and Other Special Menus. We are planning a few special food events in Nutrition Services this spring.

Department staff members are busy developing new recipes to reflect what students want to see on menus. Our top priority is to develop vegetarian/meatless options.

Life gets rushed, sometimes making it hard to eat a good breakfast before running out the door. Having breakfast benefits students in many ways, including increasing attention, memory, improving attendance, behavior and test scores.

Nutrition Services is recommitting to providing up-to-date information about what a complete meals looks like.

Eating disorders can affect people of all ages, including children. Dr. Carol Bernstein of NYU School of Medicine has talked about how hard it can be to spot eating disorders in young children,
