On Friday, January 22nd Nutrition Services held a Hawaiian luau that included teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour chicken, tropical rice and a citrus selection fruit bar.

Theme days are a great way to make school lunch even more fun for both students and staff.

They’re made in St. Louis Park, Minnesota with simple, wholesome ingredients like real fruit and cream - in fact, the main ingredient in our fruit flavors is real, fresh fruit!

Students across the district enjoyed local Harolson Apples last month, delivered fresh from Whistling Well Farm in Hastings.

October is National Farm2School Month and the District 833 Nutrition Services Department values locally grown and prepared foods because it is fresh, minimally processed and the food tastes delicious because it is picked at the peak of freshness.
