What’s new in Nutrition Services?

The Nutrition Services Department is committed to planning and serving food that helps nourish students at school.  District 833 understands the connection between eating well, learning in the classroom and peak performance in after school activities.  We are committed to a wonderful fresh fruit and vegetable bar daily.  Students may select from a rainbow of colors to help fill their tray.

Nutrislice, an online and convenient way to view your child’s school breakfast and lunch menu has officially launched.  Go to the App store to download Nutrislice (free), search for South Washington Country Schools.  With Nutrislice, you can view menus and nutritional information, view allergens and see carb counts along with pictures of the actual food served daily in our schools.

We welcome feedback from students and parents on the program.  Students at all levels are continually involved in menu planning and recipe selection.  If you have questions or would like to learn more about your child’s lunch please call 651-425-6280.
