Park High School students recognized for trimester one achievements

On Thursday, Dec. 7, nine Park High School students were recognized by staff for their hard work in the first trimester of the 2017-18 school year. Students were nominated by teachers, from each department in the areas of Music, Science, Art, Family and Consumer Science, Social Studies, Math, English, World Language and Physical Education/Health.

The students were recognized for their integrity, commitment and compassion, as well as academics and their participation in after-school activities. Students recognized include Jasmine Davis, Vitoria Boston, Lexi Nelson, Taylor Severson, Lia Snyder (pictured in the front row from left to right), Jack Oswald, Josh Lester, Grant Glazier and Timothy Monson (pictured in the back row from left to right).

Superintendent Jacobus opened the breakfast and Principal Garski acted as the Master of Ceremonies. Nominating teachers spoke about each of the nominated students and presented each with a gift bag.

Without our area business sponsors, this Applaud recognition would not have been possible.
