Recipe Development in Full Swing

Department staff members are busy developing new recipes to reflect what students want to see on menus.  Our top priority is to develop vegetarian/meatless options.  We are working on Puerto Rican red beans n’rice, and hummus with fixin’s.  We are also testing a flatbread sandwich with chicken and pesto.  Several recipes that have been offered this year will be modified to reflect student input.  We have wonderful, discerning customers – and are working hard  to “Wow” them at school lunch!
