The School Board met on Thursday, July 20 at 6:30 p.m.

The District 833 School Board has five seats open for election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

The School Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, July 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Selected from an internal pool of candidates, Michelle Barries, will begin her time as the Director of Special Services effective immediately, with final approval anticipated at the School Board level on July 20.

Seventeen students from Park High school recently participated in a National and International Thespian Festival, hosted by the University of Nebraska.

During the week of June 19, nine East Ridge students visited Birmingham, AL for the National Speech and Debate Association tournament, the largest academic competition in the world.

The School Board met at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 22.

Coming from Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia, Marvin Wooten will join Woodbury High School’s administrative team in time to prepare for the 2017-18 school year.

District 833 is pleased to announce that Kevin Witherspoon, Ed.D., has been appointed as the next Director of Human Resources and plans to transition to the position July 1, pending School Board approval.

The School Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, June 22 at 6:30 p.m.
