On August 16, 2017, the South Washington County School District’s Transportation Department sent an email to the parents of most students in the District.

The District 833 School Board has five seats open for election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

The School Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, August 17 at 6:30 p.m. with the following items on their agenda:

Starting in the fall of 2017, District 833 Nutrition Services will be switching from PayPAMS to SchoolCafé due to a technology upgrade.

Cub Foods has donated $1,000 to Park High School in honor of the grocer’s re-opening of its store in Cottage Grove.

The release of the 2017 Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) results indicate that overall, the students enrolled in South Washington County Schools continue to demonstrate a high level of proficiency.

Following an administrative presentation, at their regular School Board meeting on Aug. 3, the Board approved moving forward with three questions for the special election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
