On Saturday, Sept. 30, AVID students at Woodbury High School spent time volunteering at the Dorothy Day Homeless Shelter in St. Paul.

The School Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. with the following items on the agenda:

South Washington County Schools is proud to announce that Bailey Elementary School has been selected by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School.

Woodbury Middle School was showcased on Twin Cities Live September 27 as a part of the TV program’s Back to School series.

Some kindergarten students at Grey Cloud Elementary School made their television debut on September 26 in a back to school story on Twin Cities Live.

With the help of multiple people and organizations, Pullman Elementary School sent 35 boxes of school items for students and teachers in the Houston area affected by Hurricane Harvey.

South Washington County Schools will be looking for new talent at Washington County’s Job Fair on Tuesday, September 26.

The Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced Jeannie Kilgore as the 2017 Educator of the Year Award.
