Danielle Beekman was selected as this week’s “Excellent Educator” by WCCO. Beekman is a fourth-grade teacher at Red Rock Elementary School.

With all precincts reporting, voters have approved referendum Questions 1, 2 and 3 on the ballot for South Washington County Schools.

The School Board met on Thursday, November 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the District Service Center in Cottage Grove with the following items on the agenda:

East Ridge High School senior Amy Guo was elected as the President of Minnesota Business Professionals of America (BPA) at their annual Fall Leadership Conference this week.

Election Day is on Tuesday, November 7 and early voting is already underway at Washington County Service Centers. The service centers in our district include:

East Ridge High School senior Kate Sawyer recently visited Target’s Headquarters in Minneapolis where she was presented with the TWIST EPIC Award.

Students and teachers at Woodbury Elementary School were rewarded for their efforts to get active, eat healthy and make a difference in their school and community.

A collaboration between Lake Middle School and Middleton Elementary School helped students learn together on Friday, October 27.

Students at Woodbury Elementary School have a new space to learn and enjoy the outdoors.
