District News

The School Board met on Thursday, Oct. 10, with the following items on the agenda:

The combined choirs of East Ridge, Park and Woodbury High Schools are presenting MasterWorks 26 on Monday, Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

The Official Notice of Election on Tuesday, Nov.

District 833 students attended We Day Minnesota on Oct. 8 presented by the international charity and educational partner Free The Children.

Park High School is honored to announce the ninth class for induction in the Park High School Hall of Fame.

East Ridge High School Theater’s fall production is AIDA, a classic love story between an enslaved Nubian princess and an Egyptian soldier set to a pop-rock score.

NerdWallet, a consumer advocacy website, named Woodbury as the fourth best city in Minnesota to raise a family in.

The month of October is deemed National Bullying Prevention Month by the PACER organization, and Oct. 9 is considered Unity Day.

Six District 833 schools participated in the International Walk to School Day on Oct. 9 as part of the district’sSafe Routes to School initiative that promotes walking, biking, carpooling and riding the bus.

On Sept. 26, East Ridge High School football team members traveled to Menomonie, WI assist with a playground build.
