The School Board met on Sept. 12, with the following items on the agenda:

The Marching Royals, Woodbury High School’s marching band, has been invited to play at halftime at the first home game of the Minnesota Vikings 2013 season.

Woodbury High School’s Royals Booster Club celebrates Royal Pride on Friday, Sept. 27, for the Woodbury High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony as part of the Homecoming week festivities.

IB classes are scored on a scale of 1-7, and the international average for IB Biology SL is 4.29. Teacher Lisa Martineau’s IB Biology SL students scored an average of 4.71.

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 8,000 National Merit Scholarships worth about $35 million that will be offered next spring.

Keith Jacobus, Superintendent, returns the Parent University this fall with conversations regarding the Nov. 5 Election.

The East Ridge and Woodbury High School Cheer Teams, on behalf of the Salvation Army, will be collecting new or gently worn coats for all ages at the Varsity football game on Sept. 13, from 6-8 p.m.
