Students in East Ridge High School’s Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences program donated $815 to purchase supplies for children in Delhi, India.

Three District 833 middle school teachers were recently awarded STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) grants from HB Fuller, totaling $23,269.

ExCEL (Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership) is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in school activities, show leadership qualities, volunteer in their communities, and are model citizens.

District 833 has learned from St. Paul Park city officials that there is a water main break in the city that will affect Oltman Middle School.

Students raised $431 and collected 9,902 pounds of food and toiletry items for the Holiday Train.

  • East Ridge High School: The community is invited to join East Ridge on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Loft Stage for the school’s annual Holiday Concert.

Benjamin Anco, a third grade student at Woodbury Elementary School, was named the 2014 Minnesota State Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

East Ridge High School senior Lucy Yang is currently part of Minnesota All-State math team and was recently selected to participate in the Harvard-MIT math tournament.

Cottage Grove Middle School participated in the "Hour of Code” campaign, which introduced more than 10 million students of all ages to computer programming during Computer Science Education Week.

The American Mathematics Competition for eighth graders (AMC8) is a challenging math exam sponsored by the Mathematics Association of America designed to select the U.S. Math Olympiad team.
