Woodbury Boys' Basketball team named academic section champions

Congratulations to the Woodbury High School Boys’ Basketball team who recently won the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association Team Academic Section Championship. This award is presented each year by the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association (MSHSCA). Teams are evaluated on the team’s cumulative GPA for the projected section tournament roster, including individual GPAs for each student.

The team’s academic accomplishments will be displayed periodically on the scoreboard at the Target Center throughout the entire course of the state basketball tournament which takes place March 21-24. In addition, certificates of achievement will be sent to all team members.

The MSHSCA is a high school coaches association created and governed by Minnesota high school coaches. They work to recognize coaches from around the state who dedicate their time and energy to high school programs.

Congratulations to the Woodbury Boys’ Basketball team for a great season and maintaining impressive academics.
