As MDE released the 2013 MMR, Minnesota’s Education Commissioner pointed to the data as evidence the state is beginning to bend the curve in closing its achievement disparities.

District 833’s alternative high school has changed its name from South Washington Alternative Learning Center to South Washington Alternative High School.

In an effort to make school parking lots and streets along school routes permanently safer for walking and bicycling, seven schools in District 833 are participating in a $60,000 Safe Routes to School grant over two years.
