OMS students donate tie blankets to Children’s Hospital and local shelters

Oltman Middle School eighth graders have been busy making tie blankets for the last month for those staying at the Children’s Hospital and local shelters. With the help of their teachers, donations from Student Council and Thrivent Financial, students were able to create and donate a total of 118 blankets.

The project aligned with the goal of the Children’s Hospital to give a blanket to every child that is receiving treatment for a life threatening disease. The hospital’s goal is based solely on donations, which made for a great way for Oltman students to give back and get involved during the holiday season.
