Kat Perkins to perform at District 833 Health and Wellness Night

Students, staff and community members are invited to Park High School on February 27 for the annual District 833 Health and Wellness Night. The evening will provide free programming that promotes student wellness and builds resilient kids and communities.

This year there will be a special guest, Kat Perkins, semi-finalist on NBC’s The Voice. Perkins will share her inspirational message of showing up, being yourself and overcoming fear and insecurities during her keynote speech focused around the question - What would you do if you weren’t afraid? Afterward, students will get a chance to sing with and meet Perkins.

There will also be a resource fair to connect attendees with mental health resource providers and breakout sessions on stress management will begin for adults and teens. See the timeline for the event below:

5:30 – 7:15 p.m.: Resource Fair with mental health community resource providers
6:00 p.m.: Breakout sessions for adults and a teen-only session on managing stress
7:15 p.m.: Keynote – Kat Perkins, song performance with high school students
