East Ridge High School partners with 3M Post-it® Brand to create pixel art installations

East Ridge High School is excited to partner with 3M on a unique “Post-it® War Pixel Art Installation” in preparation of the 2016-17 school year. As part of the project, 3M and Zeus Jones, a marketing firm, have joined forces to produce advertisements to fuel emerging Post-it® Wars (the creation of artistic murals using Post-it® Super Sticky Notes on building windows) that have begun in the education world.

In collaboration with East Ridge students and staff, four different mural designs were decided upon, and one of the murals was exclusively designed for East Ridge High School. One of the designs encompassed an entire side of the school’s library windows, and three smaller ones were created throughout the building. A time lapse video was also created which will be available in the coming weeks.

The murals were completed in just one day on August 15 by about 15 East Ridge students. Students and staff say this was a fun and creative activity that has allowed them to show their school spirit.
