District 833 ranked 11th best in the state by Niche.com

South Washington County Schools was recently ranked the 11th best district in the state of Minnesota by Niche.com. The website rigorously analyzes public data and millions of reviews to produce comprehensive rankings, report cards and profiles for every K-12 school, college and neighborhood in the country.

District 833 was graded on several components including academics (A), teachers (A-), clubs and activities (A), diversity (B+), college readiness (A), and sports (A+).

South Washington County Schools was also ranked in the state’s top 20 for:

  • Best teachers (#17)
  • Safety (#16)
  • Athletics (#9)
  • Best place to teach (#14)

Among the top high schools in the state, Woodbury High is ranked 6th, East Ridge is 17th and Park High is 95th of a total of 445 high schools. High schools are ranked on academics, culture and diversity, health and safety, teachers, resources and facilities, clubs and activities, and sports.

District 833 is the 6th largest district in the state, serving more than 18,000 students in seven communities.
