Got Milk!

January 11th is National Milk Day and there are many great reasons to celebrate this drink.  As kids grow, getting enough calcium is vital to for growth. Children 4-8 years old should get 1,000 mg daily, and children 9-13 years old should consume 1,300 mg daily. One cup of skim or low-fat milk contains about 300 mg of calcium, making it a great way to meet these goals.  Enjoy a strawberry flavored milk straw with school lunch on January 11th!
