Research Approval Process

District 833 values the important information that high quality research and evaluation can provide to our District and the educational community as a whole.  The District Research Approval Process provides an organized manner by which research proposals can be reviewed to best protect the privacy and well-being of District students and stakeholders, while also providing opportunities to conduct research in District 833.

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)

District 833 uses the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessments developed by the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) to measure student progress and academic growth.  The resources on this page will provide you with an introduction to the NWEA MAP assessments, as well as access to MAP/state proficiency targets, MAP national norms, and MAP/college readiness benchmarks.
